I have called in 3 buck this week in south central Wisconsin, using a grunt/ estrus call combo. (the primos can rocks). My wife ended up taking the large buck that I called in. Also, the big non-typical that was hit in WI was said to be nose to ground.... This week will get to be some serious movement for the Midwest. huntrman Posted October 31, 2004 Report Share Posted October 31, 2004 Re: Any rut activity yet??? glad you asked this...i'm here in indiana, my brother just killed a 9 pointer this morning that he rattled in to about 40 yards when he gave him a grunt snort wheeze combo and that really ticked him off, so its starting to get good. also i've found some good scrapes, no rubs yet though, but i'm sure they are there.
