IowaDeerHunter
Does anyone have a pair of these or ever tried one. What are they like?
huntrman
Re: camera binoculars. Never heard of or seen these. Can you provide a link so I can check them out? Kind of interesting.
Adjam5
Re: camera binoculars. My son was sent a pair to try out, not test by the NAHC, hoping he would buy them. He did not. The brand was Galileo. It took OK pictures, not good ones. The resolution was bad, not even 1.0 pixels. Bushnell makes a decent pair I'm told with 3.2 mega pixels. That should be good enough for quality pictures. But it is a good idea to be able to take a good pic far away with detail. I'd say go with a name brand with the highest pixels you can get and afford. JimT
Re: camera binoculars. I have two pairs..both are CaptureViews. I like them alot. The .3 mgpxl is probably all you need for scouting. The 2.0 ones need to be real still or the pics are blury, so I just use those in the truck. I use mine alot, espicially for turkeys..... popgun
Re: camera binoculars. I have a pair of the 8x42 Capture View by Simmons or Meade (same company). I enjoy mine more than any of the other non-essential hunting toys. The Bino. optics are fairly clear too. I never carry regular binoculars anymore. They make a pretty neat video as well. I have two filed here: http://www.huntingfootage.com/showphoto.php?photo=426 http://www.huntingfootage.com/showphoto.php?photo=427 If you want really clear video or close-up photos you will have to spend some "real money" and not just a couple hundred. http://www.binoculars4less.com/brand.asp?BID=65 I hope this helps, ....popgun
maddhunter
Re: camera binoculars. Here is a pic I took early one morning while scouting with my Bushnell Image View bino/camera. I really like them. The more light there is the better this particullar set takes.
BowJoe
Re: camera binoculars. Nice buck. Was that pic zoomed in all the way or was the deer really far out?
popgun
Re: camera binoculars. The camera feature on Capture View Binoculars is fixed at about 8x, so that buck is just a long ways out there. It has fixed focus from about 15 yards to infinity. ....popgun
buckblaster
Re: camera binoculars. i have the BUSHNELL ones and its horrible.......blury pictures no matter how still you are... not worth 60.00 or whatever it was
