huntrman
Re: bow quiver This is a great topic because I am in the same boat. I thought about just putting the arrows in my backpack, but I want a quiver as well. Help us please!
huntrman
Re: bow quiver I have a '05 Hoyt Ultramag and a Fuse Navigator Sight. Its one of the adjustable sights, mostly for target shooting, but I keep 2 or 3 pins on it when it gets time for hunting. The problem is a little bar where you adjust the yardage. It is in the way of the bolts that attach the sight to the bow where you also attach a quiver. I know that Fuse makes a 2 piece quiver that would work, but I don't like shooting with a quiver on. I want it to be a detachable one. http://www.fusearchery.com/sights/navigator.tpl
Rhino
Re: bow quiver I can't see why a Boa Quiver wouldn't work on a compound bow unless maybe it's a real short axle to axle bow. I have a Boa along with another style quiver for my recurve but they should still attach to the limbs on a compound. Here's a link to them at Cabella's to check out. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templa...&id=0020326 Of course you can always go with a hip quiver too. BowJoe
Re: bow quiver Go to your local Hardware or machine shop and ask them for some bushings about 1/4" or as thick as you need to give you some space for your sight arm to adjust. Also, look for some inset hex head screws about an inch to 1-1/4 inch long with fine threads to replace your old ones. As long as you have clearance, this should work with almost any sight. Guest kunegos
Re: bow quiver My Impact Cosmic actually came with bushings and screws to allow mounting the quiver over the slide. I use a Kwikee. Usually though, I just buckle the quiver onto my backpack then screw it into the tree once I'm in the stand.
mo_hunter
Re: bow quiver If you want to carry one cat quiver would work great. If you want one for your bow alpine soft lock comes with bushings to move it away form your sight if needed.
maytom
Re: bow quiver I love the new Kwickee-Kwiver that holds the arrows in two places. The bracket attachment that goes on the bow, also can be used with another bracket that screws into the tree. Just pick up another bracket essembly. Then slip the quiver off your bow and slip in into the bracket on the tree!! Awesome set-up!!
AaronS
Re: bow quiver willfish and huntrman, You could do what Michael Waddell does. Buy any old quiver you want, then zip-tie it to your backpack. I have an Alpine Softloc quiver on my Hoyt and love it, but plan to use the zip-tie method with my Bowtech so I can shoot it without the weight of the quiver on the side. It makes the arrows a little easier to get to and they're angled with the stand so they do not get in my way while drawing.
