hutchies
Re: Anyone use Lumenock\'s (pic) Yeah Kyle they are high. Some guys on AT have tried making their own but the end up spending more time and money than just buying some Lumenocks. Plus the homeade one have to stay on all the time. The Lumenocks only light up when you release. You will definately know if you made a good shot close to dark though and if the arrow stays intact it could help you find the deer. hutchies
Re: Anyone use Lumenock\'s (pic) You can buy 3 for $25 on the Burt Coyote website. Would you rather loose a deer or loose a nock. Also if you did miss you would be able to find your arrow alot easier. I am sure you could find some off of Ebay or AT for cheaper. They way I look at it is that Arrows are $6 a piece plus fletching and the broadheads are about $8 a piece. So I already have $14 in the arrow. The $5 extra I spend on the lumenock will either save an arrow or a deer. Either way it is much cheaper than losing either one of the above. Aw them nocks aren't gonna make the difference in me getting a deer or missing one. they are a net product. I just can't see spending that kinda money for a lighted nock
hutchies
Re: Anyone use Lumenock\'s (pic) I did not say they would make a difference in wether you made the shot or missed the shot. I said you will be able to tell if you made a good shot or not. I can't see spending money on alot of things but if a product like this will add some confidence to my close to dark shooting then I am more than happy with it. VTbowman
Re: Anyone use Lumenock\'s (pic) Now now fellas... I am thinking of getting 1 to play with. And I shoot trad only. To each his own I always say. I still use carbons and would like to see them work. I had a bad experience with the 1st 3 pak I got and sent them back. I am thinking about Tracers, the one that use the magnets, but dont want to stick a magnet to my wooden long bow riser. Maybe I will give the Lumenocks another go....
