Yesterday I went to Dicks and picked up three 16' climbing sticks for $29 a piece. I have two already but I want to get to 20' so I bought an extra one. Now I will have 4 of them at 20'. I love these things, they are so easy to use. I just have to figure how to keep the theives from stealing them.

Shame...but there is no way other than taking it with you everytime to be sure someone won't steal them. Congrats on your purchases...stick ladders are a great, easy way to get up to 20' safely.

To start, you can drill a hole through each part that connects and padlock them together, but that would only help deter thieves. Next you will have to figure out how to lock it to a tree. This might be able to be done by putting a chain around the ladder and the tree and then pad locking that too. Hope this helps.
