Rut-Nut
Yes, I switched to the new B2 replacement biscuit and AAE Speedflyte vanes and have ABSOLUTELY no fletching problems(deformed or loose) now!!!!! The speedflytes are a little more expensive, but they come with their own adhesive, so when you figure this in, they're only a littl more expensive than the AAE Elite Plasti-fletch vanes. They do require a little more prep(gotta sand the base of the vanes), but man does that speedset gel really anchor them to the shaft!!!!! I noticed that that base of these vanes is about 1/2 the width and height of the plasti-fletch(lower profile so to speak) which I can see makes the vane slip through the biscuit better. The vane also seems to be a lot stiffer, so as to prevent deformity. Well, I now have my solution. They are holding up great with many many shots now!!!!! buckee
Re: B2 Biscuit + Speedflyte vanes= problem solved!!!! Sounds like you made a good choice. I switched the the 4" bohning vanes this year because they also come highly recommended for use with the biscuit. Happy Hunting eh
