Just an idea!

As the deer archery season is rapidly coming, the anticipation is building. Then i think of how i missed last season due to being deployed to Iraq. I think that i should be able to shoot 4 bucks this year instead of 2. Maybe im just wanting to make up for last year, but thats the price for freedom and i would do it again! It was worth a try though! confused.gif

I think that any of our troops that served in Iraq (if they would want one ) should be given a FREE LIFETIME hunting & fishing license from the state they live in. It would be a small price to pay for all of the freedom we have had from terrorist attacks on our home soil.

Ditto,,,,,,,I agree whole heartedly

Guys like you make a man like me feel proud to be an american and able to serve my country. the quote of a free life time membership would be awesome but too much for me to ask. i volunteered to go to Iraq and that was enough thanks for me.I'm currently in the Army national guard and i'm now activated helping the evacuees from New Orleans

Re: Just an idea!

I'm not sure if this is correct, but I'm pretty sure Ohio gives free hunting licenses to Vets, and/or people who are on active duty. Deer tags are an exception, but hey it saves you $20 a year.

I'm sure if you petition your state they'd do the same, it's the least they can do for ya bud. Look into it.
