Mirage Posted September 7, 2005 Report Share Posted September 7, 2005 Well i just got back from Maryland my spots are all cleared out and i have some nice shooting lanes . I was clearing a new spot and found and old set of deer bones under my tree. The deer died from a carbon arrow laying in that pile no fletchings but had a muzzy on the end ,thought that was a neat find. What have you guys found thats a cool find in the woods?? Well a few times while i was out looking for good trees to hunt from i would climb them to make sure they were just rite and i would find old rusty bow hangers i found about 4 already that way. joebobhunter4 Posted September 8, 2005 Report Share Posted September 8, 2005 Re: Cleared out and ready! hutchies take a chains saw and cut slanted down wards on the tree startin from the bottome and up (if you dont plan on useing the tree for hunting ever) and cut all the way up to his stand and make it so he cant see it... as hes climbing up the tree will fall over but make sure you cut it so it doesnt fall on him... because on our land one time some trespassers we seen on our land we kicked em out the next day we went out there they did that to all of our stands... my friends dad didnt see the cuts went up and fell and hit the side of a tree with his head and had to get staples in his head because of trespassers so do it to him he deserves it for trespassing...
