I shoot a 60 lb buckmaster G2 with easton c2 carbon 400s i shoot 100 gr B/h's but i was wondering if it was ok to go to a 125 would i still be able to shoot a deer out to 30rds and get a pass threw shot or should i stick with 100's thanks for you input

I think either will be fine...60 pounds is plenty to get a passthru with 100gr heads..Just ask anyone who shoots that poundage. Stay away from the shoulder like you should anwas..and your set. You will get more penetration with 125 grains, but I would just stay with the 100s.

i shot 125's for 9 yrs and switched to 100's for speed.the 125's will pass thru easily if hit in the vitals.as long as its a fixed blade, mechanicals still go thru, but lay flat on the ground after coming out,nothing left on them

both will do the job. what little weight you give up for shooting the 100s wont amount ot much for speed.. maybe 8 fps ?

thats not a whole lot.. actually im going with heavier heads this year.. im shooting 125s for my recurve and 100 for my compound...
