CWD leading to CJD in Wisconsin?

These men died about 10 years ago. At this point the idea that they died due to eating CWD tainted venision is pure conjecture. If the men got the illness fron a deer they shot wouldn't other family members(who likely ate venison from the same deer)have suffered the same fate. As far as Jacobs disease, WI has 5-6 cases a year on average. This may be just a coincidence. Picks disease(which the third man had) is not related in any way to CWD.
