Adjam5
I have been doing some online shopping and I found that there are some BIG differences in the prices on the same products from Cabelas and Bass Pro. For instance, I wanted to buy a TruFire Hurricane Buckle Extreme release...Cabelas has it for 49.99 and Bass Pro had it for 34.99....Thats a BIG difference! $15.00. I ordered it from Bass pro, even with the shipping, it was cheaper than Cabelas. I was suprised. I saved so much, I also bought some broadheads that were on sale. Has anyone experienced this huge price difference with these 2 outdoor Giants? I never imagined that the prices would be THAT different between the 2 since they are competitors. RyanH
Re: Cabelas VS Bass Pro For some reason I have noticed the same thing. I was looking at the Rino GPS 110. Bass Pro here in OKlahoma city sells them for $120.00 But they were sold out. So i checked with cabelas, they had them for $169.00 Kinda odd, Needless to say I didnt order it from Bass pro or cabelas. Nethier had them in stock anywhere. So i settled for a cheap megellan! Ill exchange it when i get back! LOL

hutchies
Re: Cabelas VS Bass Pro Yep, Also check out a Gander Mountain if you have one nearby. They have alot of things cheaper than both places. Gander was selling the Stoney Point Field sticks for $19.99 the other day when I was there. Orion_70
Re: Cabelas VS Bass Pro For a long time it seemed that Cabela's was consistently $5 cheaper than BP on most items. Now I'm seeing that BP is cheaper than Cabela's on a lot of items.. I can find most stuff for sale online at a lot of outdoor stores or ebay cheaper than both though
buckblaster
Re: Cabelas VS Bass Pro i like cabelas better.....i dont usually order from them...i drive to cabelas...1 hour from my house compared to over 2 hours to basspro
HarvDog
Re: Cabelas VS Bass Pro I think Cabelas has a better/big selection and the prices seem to be very close between the two. I continue to order from both.
LifeNRA
Re: Cabelas VS Bass Pro I prefer Cabela's. But I do shop at Bass pro. I have Cabela's 30 miles to my east, Bass Pro and Gander Mountain 30 miles to my west. Along with a few Dick's Sporting Goods in three different locations. No matter what your shopping for, ALWAYS TYPE THE ITEM IN GOOGLE FIRST! You would be totally surprised how cheap you can find the exact same item for much less money! I bought a camera on-line for $440. Cabela's wanted $700! Go to www.google.com and type in the item your looking for, then shop away! I saved hundreds of dollars by doing this! BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: Cabelas VS Bass Pro Cabelas a lot better service when you order it you get it I have hassled with BPS several times now I just get it from Cabelas.... hutchies
Re: Cabelas VS Bass Pro I think customer service always depends on the person you talk to behind the desk. When my Parker went south I called and drove down. The guy there wanted to send it in to get fixed and he said it might take a while. I told him I would rather have my money back and within a minute I had a refund and within an hour had a new bow. I shop Bass Pro and Gander Mountain. I just was not impressed with our local Cabelas. Prices were higher than Bass Pro, Academy, Gander, and even my local pro shop.
