I see my pics are still there, but I lost a lot of links because I have exceeded my bandwidth at Photobucket.

I think it's because I just had to many links from there to here, for myself and other members in here. frown.gif

It looks like some of you guys are going to have to learn this photo hosting and posting stuff on your own real soon smirk.gif

You guys cant host everybodies sig on your Photobucket account! You will sooner or later exceed the bandwidth limits! This is why I would only keep them there for a few days! If too many people get in here at Realtree to view our posts, everytime they open a thread, this counts as a hit on your Photobucket account! After while you exceed there limits! Everybody that has a sig should have there own account or hosting site from your ISP. Unfortunately, Realtree doesnt allow gif files that move. After your month sign up date everything will come back then. But if you exceed again, you have to wait! Read below!

Q: I am getting a "Bandwidth Exceeded" picture in place of my images, what is bandwidth?

A: Bandwidth, in Photobucket terms, is a measure of the number of bytes passed over time via direct linking, etc. It is calculated by adding up the size of each of your images as they are sent from Photobucket. Example: You have various images of 25K each in size - they are viewed by by 100 users on your favorite message board in one day. 25K * 100 requests = 2500K (or 2.5MB) of bandwidth used in one day. Please be careful not to confuse bandwidth with your album size, otherwise known as disk space, which is discussed above.

Q: How often does my bandwidth usage reset?

A: Bandwidth resets each month on the anniversary of the day you originally registered. Example: you registered on the 5th of June - your bandwidth will reset on on 5th of each month. You can view your original registration day in your 'Account Options'. Please see the 'Member since' field.

Q: I removed a number of images from my album but my bandwidth has not decreased.

A: Bandwidth is cummulative over time, it does not go down. Please see the question on what is bandwidth. Your bandwidth usage resets to 0 each month on the anniversary of the day that you originally registered.

Man I posted at the beginning of the week that Photobucket wasn't happy with me and I with them,,,,,,but I still have everyones pictures and animations backed up on my system and Im prepared and ready to email them to anyone that needs or whats it.... grin.gifwink.gif
