Re: Want to start fletching my own arrows

Basic list would be...

- Fletching Jig (I use a Bitzenburger jig)

- If your shooting a right handed bow you'll probably want a right helical clamp.

- Bare Shafts (unless your just refletching your own)

- Fletching Glue

- Blazer Fletchings or whatever type of fletching your going to put on

- Rubbing Alcohol for cleaning the surface of the shaft

I think that's about it, chime in if I've missed anything.

Re: Want to start fletching my own arrows

does anybody know if i should fletch the blazers with an offset or a helical, and how much on each one? it looks like im going to get an arizona ez-fletch. so do i need to get the offset or right helical version? i am gonna be shooting fixed blade 100 grain muzzy 4 blades and i want to make sure they are stabalized well. right now my axis arrows have a straight fletch on them and im just not sure if that is gonna cut it or not. i guess i should just test them to see.
