Guest La_Biologist
I ordered a large sample pack from the whitetail Institute. There are several types of seed in the pack. Has anyone used these products before?
AaronS
Re: Imperial Seeds from Whitetail Institute Welcome to the forum. I have one acre of Alfarack. I planted it 2 years ago which turned out to be a very dry fall here, so it didn't take off real well at first. The following spring it took off and has done great. I had deer in it every time I hunted it last fall.
dogdoc
Re: Imperial Seeds from Whitetail Institute i've used their clover before--they make a good product but i'm sold on Hamann Farms products now.
wtnhunt
Re: Imperial Seeds from Whitetail Institute Welcome to the forums. Have only ever tried their free sample packets that they send out in those nahc junk mail. Have had my best luck with penningon seed blends and have also been pretty impressed with my hamannfarms clover/trefoil plot.
Tominator
Re: Imperial Seeds from Whitetail Institute I got the 3 pack of their sample products, and they grow fine. My plot is just beyond my fence, so they don't get visited too much. On top of that, I'm competing with the thousands of acres around me that have beans, corn, wheat and alfalfa.
