grin.gifgrin.gifHere is what I set up to use for moose hunting this year. A Sako TRG-S, in .338 Lapua grin.gifgrin.gif

Its topped off with a Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10 X 44, in Leupold rings, and I'll be sending 250 grain Hornady's down the tube pushed by H-1000. That big gas tank will be devastating ooo.gifwink.gif

Nice rig! Isint it a tad on the heavy side for moose hunting? The ammo on the buttstock must weigh 2 pounds.

LOL, Shooting this thing you'll want as much weight as you can get. grin.gif I won't be using the bi-pod on the moose hunt, so that will reduce the weight somewhat. Actually this rifle, before putting the ammo on the stock, weighs less than my Tikka 695 7mm Rem mag. Also weight isn't a big issue, we hunt mainly from lake shores, that we pull up our canoe on, and call, or sit and wait in known feeding areas, as well as calling from tree stand set ups. Honestly the furthest we go from camp would be 1.5 miles, and that includes a 1 mile canoe ride, it's not real tough hunting where we go grin.gif
