billygoat
All right guys, the arrows are being crested and fletched, but I asked the lady not to place the inserts, as I wanted to set them to the broadheads... So now... How do I do that?
dg
Re: Insert question? You mean align the BH blades with the vanes? Unless for looks, IMO, it's not required and adds nothing to the accuracy. But if you still want to, screw the BH into the insert, apply your glue/epoxy or whatever, and shove in the shaft until it aligns up. billygoat
Re: Insert question? Looks like I've been baffoosled! I guess it's an old wife's tail that the BH's should be aligned to the Fletching! Guess I will call pack DW and tell her to go ahead and place the inserts! tedicast
Re: Insert question? Billy....it is not lining up the bh's with the fletch that is important, it is making sure the bh's are wobble free. We spin test each arrow, with the bh, that will be on it, before the insert glue dries, to get it as wobble free as possible.

billygoat
Re: Insert question? Thanks John, I gathered that after I researched a little more, sometimes it helps to look into something before you make a post and go and look like a "hee haw".
