spineshot
i used the razorback 5 broadhead a few years ago. not sure they are the same now. They used to spin so flight was very good. they didnt have as big of a diameter cut as some do today, but they were lethal. I went the thunderheads, but had trouble with arrow flight, and i now use mechanical. spitfire or shockwave have worked well. Open up a big hole, and i have had only 1 time where they might not have opened, but not sure.

PAbowhunter4life
Re: which broadhed to use? Can't go wrong with either of them bud. Just make sure they are both flying good out of your set up.
Guest tyshe17
Re: which broadhed to use? I would shoot the shockwaves, I like fixed blades, but the razorbacks changed there design a few years ago and dont spin as much anymore and this causes more planeing. This late in the game I would shoot the mechs that you know will hit with your fieldtips
hutchies
Re: which broadhed to use? I shot my shockwaves yesterday and I am pretty close the the same as my field tips. They seem to be shooting to the right about an inch at 30 yards.
mo_hunter
Re: which broadhed to use? [ QUOTE ] I have 2 sets of broadheads the N.A.P. shockwaves and the razorbacks. Both 100gr. Which one is the better of the 2 based on arrow flight and blood trails. Haven't had a chance to shoot them, I am leaning toward the Razorbacks but don't know if they fly true. [/ QUOTE ] It will also depend on your KE. You don't want to shoot mech. if your KE is low . You will have better penetration with a fixed blade. If your KE is good shoot whatever you like.
