TexasDeerHunter
Why is it that most , if not all, public lands in Texas are overrun with trash from those claiming to be hunters? In other states like Kansas, the areas available to the public dont have all the trash and abuse. I am a proud Texan, but it seems like alot of the folks here don't take care of the land that we are so fortunate to have. Any ideas why? Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Public Hunting I'm at a loss myself. The only thing I can think of is the "I'm paying taxes so someone else can darn well clean up my mess" attitude.
wtnhunt
Re: Public Hunting Dont know, dont hunt public grounds here, but bet they are not all that well kept. Dont understand some peoples mentality of not caring enough to clean up after themselves.

johnf
Re: Public Hunting I can't say I've ever seen a piece of trash on public land in Arkansas yet. They are pretty rough on violators. I've heard of people getting pretty heafty fines for leaving their camp sights messy after season is over. And they use chain gang type work to clean up, I think.
