RyanH Posted September 13, 2005 Report Share Posted September 13, 2005 OK guys as you know Im going Elk hunting this week. I leave on Thursday get there friday and pack in! Im gonna be whooped before I even start hunting. I have EVERYTHING possible to help me survive, camp, hunt, sleep, and plus some. I have EVERYTHING to keep my dry and alive for 7 days packed in a back pack. Here is a look at what Im packing in! This thing weighs prolly close to 60#'s and ill be walking in about 5 miles. This will not be any fun. But the reward of packing a elk out will be worth it. Oh yea This is not including all the camera equipment with. This is gonna be wild. LOL Wish me luck! When you get about 4 miles in, you'll appreciate them alot more. LOL Good luck, bring plenty of water on the way in - remember, you won't have to carry it the whole way cause you'll be drinking it.
