Stinger-Hunter
Re: has any one shot the carbon arrows. Yes, I shot them last year - mostly target I shot carbon express. They were accurate and durable. I'm shooting Rhino 45-10's this year with Quick Spin Vanes - custom arrows. I haven't had a chance to shoot them yet, but I will in the next few days. ksdeerhunter03
Re: has any one shot the carbon arrows. I shoot A/C/C's, they are expensive, but I love em. I shoot a blazer vane on them and they flat move!

Adjam5
Re: has any one shot the carbon arrows. Take a look at carbon express. You can find them at Walmart. About 4 bucks a piece. Make sure you get the right poundage for your bow.
CDubWSR
Re: has any one shot the carbon arrows. my buddy and i both just switched to carbons. his reflex excursion went from shooting 219 fps to 263 fps by adding a few pounds and changing to carbons and 100 grain tips instead of 125. i just got a new hoyt vipertec and i am shooting 273 fps with easton axis 400's and an 85 grain tip pullin about 68 pounds. so it makes a pretty big difference. your arrow gets there alot faster and it really flattens out your trajectory which gives you a little more cushion for your yardage estimation if its not spot on. easton makes two different carbon shafts called epic and excell i think and they run $35 and $29 for a half dozen at the pro shop i use. Master_Chief
Re: has any one shot the carbon arrows. I shoot gold tip 5575's and I have put down a couple deer in the last 2 years with no problems. They are very durable especially with all the practice. LifeNRA
Re: has any one shot the carbon arrows. I wont worry about cheap, I would be more concern that your arrows are spined for the weight of your bow. Otherwise you could wind up blowing one up into your hand, or worst. There was pictures here not too long ago that showed this! A lot of people in here use Gold Tips, and there are others too! Buy a good quality arrow! Chrud
Re: has any one shot the carbon arrows. [ QUOTE ] what is the cheapest carbon arrows going for a dozzen and what is the name of tem. [/ QUOTE ] You can get a dozen of Gold Tip XT Hunters for about $50 to $60. Their tolerances are +/-0.003" and +/-2.0 grains. There are a lot of arrows that aren't even close to those tolerances for a lot more money. billygoat
Re: has any one shot the carbon arrows. I've been hunting with GT XT hunters 5575 (and the 5575 series) for over 5 years... absolutely love them, although, plan on a broken arrow if you don't get a pass through!
