I have hunted a few other states and the last 5 years in Miane I hear this story repeated more than I want to say. It seems to be more in the Expanded Archery zones. Shoot the big one bud! I had put the stand on the tree awhile back so it would be there when opening day comes next weekend. That way I could just go & it would be on the tree & I just had to get in & climb.Yea I know stupid idea. I have done this for years. I almost always leave it in the woods during the season especially if I am going to the same tree the next day. This is on my own ground. I was sick about it when I discovered it missing. My favorite stand. It is a big stand that I fit in comfortably. Get in the tree & you could sit in it all day. I went to the hunting store in our area & bought a new one a couple of days ago. They don't carry the API line so I settled for a Summit. Got a Goliath X5. It is not as big in the seat frame part as my old one so not real sure if I am going to be happy with it. I do like the quick cables,climbing stirrups & 8-9 pounds lighter than the Grand Slam Magnum Supreme. I am going to go climb a tree today & see how I fit in it. It will come off the tree & go home with me. If anyone has a used Grand Slam Magnum Supreme that they are interested in selling I am interested in buying.
