Guest tyshe17
well, no day is wasted when I get to be in the woods, but I didnt see any deer while hunting in N GA on saturday. However, after the morning hunt I stopped and talked to two bird hunters that were training dogs. Not only did one of them give me a mess of quail, he gave me his number and told me he might have a place I can hunt that is only 30 min from where I live. Turns out he came through. I now have permisssion to bow hunt a golf course on the out skirts of ATL and am going to try and go see the wood lots thursday. I am only going to hunt during the week so as to create as little disturbance as possible. But, just goes to show you never know what stopping and saying hi will get you!!! I'm pumped with out this land I would have to drive over an hour to hunt any where consistantly!!!

Guest tyshe17
Re: not a wasted saturday the place I am going to hunt is a big woodlot on the golf course property...and the deer get use to the disturbance and smell and sound of the people playing. These deer are actually feeding on the course and neighboring flowerbeds so they are becoming a pest...datadadaaa!!! (thats me and my bow sweeping in to save the day)

[/ QUOTE ] they get used to the golfers. No threat there except a bonk on the head by a golf ball. I found a shed earlier this year on a golf course. Good luck!!
