Good Weekend!(756kb of pictures)

Finally got out for some birds with some old friends back home. The rain gave them a much needed break from harvest and let them come join me in the barley fields of the Interlake.

Did well Sunday night with our limit of ducks. Monday morning went well with near limits for both ducks and geese. The birds were working kinda goofy. They had been shot at a bit.

Tuesday morning was a blast. Fresh birds, fresh field. Birds landing at our feet, on the blinds, right above us and one almost hit ROBO.

I will post most of my pictures on my website, but here are a couple from the last three days.

Just thought I would mention that the swaths that I was laying in belong to one of my best friends who accompanied me on the hunt. (next swath over)

I recieved a few e-mails about how I shouldn't be wrecking swaths. mad.gif We can use a small section of swath, or let the 3000 ducks tear the whole field up!

Yorkton? Nope. But I was born there!

I was hunting in The Interlake close to Arborg, MB.

Oh Because I was just wondering. I knew you were born in Yorkton. I currently live in Yorkton.
