Re: whisker biscuit question

you dont need to switch. i bought the carbon sized one b/c i am shooting easton axis that are very small diameter. my buddy who shoots a regular sized carbon shoots the aluminum size. one of the guys at the pro shop acutally enlightened us to this. with the new biscuit, the bottom black whiskers that the arrow sits on are the only actual rest part. all of the brown wiskers are just there to contain the arrow. i used to shoot aluminums through an aluminum sized one, and since i have switched to slim carbons and shot them them on the regular carbon size i have had alot less fletching damage. the reason for that is when you shoot a larger size, the whiskers doesnt make contact with the front edge of you vanes like it would with the "correct" size, it actually makes contact further back which keeps its from peeling vanes off. as long as you shoot the odd fletch up so that all three vanes are passing through the brown whiskers you wont have any problems with vane damage and you will have perfectly fine accuracy.
