I just bought brand new nap quik spin fletchings and i shot all 6 arrows once and a few now are wavy ...real wavy and i was wondering if this is normal or is it just an error from my dealer and how bad is this going to affect my patterns? thanks for you advice.

Re: Wavy vanes

Quick Spins are great vanes for other rests, but for a whisker biscuit, they are just too dang fragile IMO.

I tried them last year and had the same problems.

They sure fly great though.

I made the switch to Bohning 4" vanes this year and they are one tough vane. They are highly recommended for the biscuit grin.gif

Re: Wavy vanes

Make some adjustments. Namely your rest or your veins. Somethings gotta go.

Your friends drop away isn't doing him much good if he's having contact. Spray some atheletes foot powder on the rest. Shoot and you'll be able to tell where he's hitting. It may also be hitting your bus cable. I've seen that happen.

GOOD LUCK
