HarvDog
Re: Wavy vanes What rest are you using? I'm not sure if it's normal or not but I just read somewhere that you can straight them using a hairdryer or boiling water.

Guest lostiniowa
Re: Wavy vanes They have to be hitting something, rest maybe. You can straighten them with a lighter but keep the flame an inch or 2 away the heat with straighten them! good luck
buckee
Re: Wavy vanes Quick Spins are great vanes for other rests, but for a whisker biscuit, they are just too dang fragile IMO. I tried them last year and had the same problems. They sure fly great though. I made the switch to Bohning 4" vanes this year and they are one tough vane. They are highly recommended for the biscuit

Smitteken
Re: Wavy vanes Make some adjustments. Namely your rest or your veins. Somethings gotta go. Your friends drop away isn't doing him much good if he's having contact. Spray some atheletes foot powder on the rest. Shoot and you'll be able to tell where he's hitting. It may also be hitting your bus cable. I've seen that happen. GOOD LUCK -aaron

BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: Wavy vanes The wavyness is easy to get rid of on quickspins just hold the vane over a candle or open flame and the wavyness will come right out it usually happens when you store your arrows in a place where they got too warm dont get them too close tot he flame it doesnt take much heat but its easy to fix.
