He lost his father a couple years ago to a heart attack. One day he showed some interest in my hunting stories and said how cool it was. I went ahead and checked with his mom and scheduled the class. He is pretty pumped! Looking forward to getting him his first deer this year. His name is Ryan and he is 17. I'll keep yall updated on his progress. I took a young guy from church whose family had no interest in hunting under my wing when he was 14. At 16 he shot his first deer, a six pointer, and I was just as pumped as he was.
