He needs a bow setup folks. I have been emailing back and fourth with him this week. I just know we can find something for him. Maybe you can help one more time?

Subject: Re: Help with bow

My name is Jeff Lamphear and I live in Queensbury New York. I am a disabled veteran that would like to bow hunt but is unable to due to not having or for better terms lost the ability to do so by means of funds. I have saved for the last two years to purchase a bow setup rigged out with rest, sights and detachable quiver. Being left handed I prefer a left hand bow and it has to be ordered unless I get a right, left. I had saved aprox $700.00 for the bow that I liked and unfortunately had a financial issue that took center stage, this wiped out the 7 plus and put me in the hole and l just got hit with another 500.00 that definitely kills any chance of getting one for at least the 3 to 4 years.

I am a life member of NAHC and posted for member help ,sent a e-mail to member and have had no response from members and a big no way from the club. I contacted HS for ideas or assistants form prostaffers, Nugent USA and Matthews as they were the bow that I was going to get, none of these people could help. The only response positive response I could get was from Norm Sauceman at DHNA. Norm has worked feverishly to try to help me knowing that I am financially unable to purchase a bow but would like to go or my tags will go unfilled, he's the only one that actually cared enough to try to help.

I am on a fixed income being a DAV and going to college, I was in the Marin Corps and the Army I have separated my shoulders and dislocated my knee and have problems walking long distances( box Stand). I have to get permits to put draw lock as it becomes a modified bow due to my shoulders. I shoot my brothers from time to time with it set at about 45 this seems to work good.

I'm not real educated on bow verbiage and it's complete meaning but I wear a large to extra large long sleeve shirt if that helps. Thank you for taking the time to read this and any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated as the only real enjoyment I get is hunting.

Hunt Safe, Live Strong.

Gratefully yours,

Jeff Lamphear

Cool deal man. I've got them at the house....it will be at least 6 days before I get home, so I hope you can wait a little longer...SORRY frown.gif Actually, if you send me your address, I'll have my mom get them sent for ya....on second thought, she may have trouble picking out which ones they are....I've got a pile of mixed up arrows.

Anyone got a spare bow?! wink.gif
