I do the dishes pretty much everyday and on Saturday morning, my wife works on the kitchen and dusting the family room, living room, and dining room while I clean the master bathroom and vacuum the entire house with the central vacuum system I installed. I will clean dishes if she cooks and vice versa. She is going to quit work soon and then it will be 'come home and play with the kids'. I do all the outside things (with the exception of flowers) like mow and weedeat, etc. Everything inside is hers, that's why she stays at home and I work. Fairy Union Local #29 (the magical fairies that move the dishes from the counter into the dishwasher), Fairy Union Local #33 (the magical fairies that pick up dirty clothes off the floor and put them in the laundry), and several other magical fairies seem to look after the rest. And he doesn't care if the house is clean or not, I'm the only one who seems to mind, so I'm the only one who cleans. I kind of like the yard work though....much better than doing dishes! If we stopped cleaning today and never lifted another finger til Christmas............the house would have to be condemned. I have a question though for all you guys in the military.... Were you a slob before you enlisted??? It just seems to me that all the guys I know that are in the military are neat-freaks. Is that something instilled in basic training? I am a neat freak and my wife is not so I usually prefer to clean. We each do our own laundry and I take care of the yard and vehicles too. LOL. I do alot of the cooking since I work from home. My wife is a neat freak, which is nice cause now the house is always clean. I do my laundry, she does hers.
