dlriggins
Re: gumafolage cant bring myself to buy pine tree flavored gum when you are surrounded by stuff that makes your breath smell like the woods (keep in mind ivy, sumac, anything else that begins with poison NOT GOOD)
Guest jbhunter
Re: gumafolage My buddy bought some and we tried it. I kinda liked the taste of the alfalfa honey (i think thats what it is). We had a crappy day in the stand that day so i don't really know if it works. I saw some apple flovored breath strips but I figure anykind of apple flovored gum would work. I have also heard of using vanilla skoal but being 16 that isn't an option right now.
Huntress
Re: gumafolage Something has perplexed me for a while, kind of on this topic... My dad chews skoal wintergreen. Smells aweful! But, he kills a deer every year... Do deer not smell it? He plays the wind and always has (doesn't own a peice of Scent Blocker clothing) but it seems that something that strong it wouldn't matter if the deer was upwind and close enough to shoot with a bow. What do y'all think? Marijane
dlriggins
Re: gumafolage this topic was discussed prior to last deer season and a lot of people chew on the stand some of them even said that the deer licked the juice I dont know I have chewed and even smoked in the tree and have seen deer (have since quit both) but I will say that I didn't see any nice bucks but the does didn,t seem to mind much
stevebeilgard
the only time i want to be close enough to a deer that it can smell my breath is when it's dead...
Guest fishermanwhohunts
I've tried it before but it backfired because I swallowed air and got the farts.
