huntrman
I used to have a whisker biscuit and shot **** feather up. I switched to a Ripcord drop away. My question is, do I still shoot **** feather up, to the side or down? Which is it for a drop away rest, or does it really matter? I seem to be shooting decent with **** feather up, but I want to make sure I am doing things right. Thanks!
c_lou
Re: Which is it? I don't think it matters. I changed from shooting index feather down to shooing with it up. Didn't make a difference on arrow flight. I shoot a dropaway rest. That is just my personal observations though.

MCH
Re: Which is it? Shoot c-ckfeather up. If you're having timing issues you're less likely to get contact that way.
BowJoe
Re: Which is it? I had a problem with the c ockfeather in the down position on my drop away rest. It wasn't the c ockfeather I was having a problem with, it was the vane on the right that was hitting my cable as it launched. I just turned the c ockfeather out to where it's pointing straight to the left and it has excellent clearance. Not a problem since.
