Guest hoyt_vtec_kid
i dont know about yall but i just love to hunt, i dont have that much respect for people who just go out to shoot at deer. im probably not going to be able to sleep on sept 30. you just have to love the feeling when you see a deer from 20 yrds away our when you call or rattle in a bick buck. who else feels this way about hunting? Guest TheNumber1Young1
Re: >>>>> the love for hunting <<<<< i know exactly what your talking about, that cool morning air right when you go outside in the morning, not a sound, and then crack, crack, and then the sound of the gun.. and the taste of the deer, its a great sport all together, if you take anyone, and i mean anyone who has a heart out hunting for the first time, even if they are not into it, they will shake when they see that deer, that will have a feeling inside like no other, and that feeling is why i hunt. mainebuck
Re: >>>>> the love for hunting <<<<< If you don't love being out there you're not going to last in the sport is my opinion, especially up this way. I've had some years where I did not get a deer. It can test you, but it makes you realize that deer or no deer there's nothing better than being out there. maddhunter
Re: >>>>> the love for hunting <<<<< I feel the same way. My wife and son and I were discussing this on the way home from the circus friday night. My son asked me something about haveing a good time and not shooting anything(don't remember what exactly it was). I asked him if he has a good time even when we don't see a deer or turkey when we are hunting and he said he always has a good time. And that's why we are out there, not just to kill something but for the time away from everything else and the thrill of the hunt and a good buck or longbeard or even a pack full of rabbits is just a bonus!!!!! COME ON OCT.1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BowJoe
Re: >>>>> the love for hunting <<<<< It's the potential of the hunt that makes it so exciting. I bet any one of us hunters has seen a trophy while on stand or on the ground. That potential to be out there with the knowledge of a buck you once saw, in the same woods as you, is what keeps us coming back and on alert the whole time we are on stand. That's why I am usually really tired when I get back to the truck and can relax. I am so pumped at what might be coming down the trail or across the field. Every snap might be a squirrel or it might be a HUGE non typical everyone in the county knows about. You never know.
