OU's run defense is awesome but their passing D sucks. I doubt we can beat them on the ground so we've got to get a passing attack. I almost went back to gambling this week. I told my friends that the 24 1/2 spread that the Cowboys were getting was a lock....to bet on the other team. Heck, we can't even score 24 1/2 points much less win by that amount. Sure enough, 20-10, against a no-namer??? I'm beginning to see a big old goose egg in conference play. For sure, if we keep playing like we're playing now. I believe form here on out it's going to be a very long season. They're good enough to compete win the Big 12. All they're lacking is offensive cohesion and that just takes time. Us on the other hand, lack so much that its not even funny. Gonna be a long year! I saw it in the paper today, and saw OU at the bottom and got a laugh. They have the worst record outta the big 12 now. You say they can compete in the big 12, yet they can't hang with nobodies????? I don't know...a team just doesn't go from National Contenders to Bottom Dwellers in one year. If I were a betting man, I'd put money on OU finishing near the top in the Big 12 and(if they're lucky) in the back half of the top 25. Now if they didn't, I wouldn't be crying about it.
