Guest LDB
They've been spotted out in the prairies in the past, but in the last 5 years moose have really become abundant in areas not normally thought of as typical moose habitat. I snapped these photos while scouting for deer a week ago. My wife snapped these photos last week from behind her office. He decided the north industrial area in Saskatoon, a city with population of about 220,000 people, was a good place to bed down for the day. Apparently this young bull has snuck into the city before and was known to local CO's.

Guest LDB
Re: Moose invading prairies It was actually a Hungarian Partridge that the moose kicked up when he was making his way across the field. I was maxed out on the camera's digital zoom, so the partridge didn't show up all that good.
