huntinsonovagun
I had been wanting to try out a Yo' Sista' for quite some time, but saw an RNT call I thought might be better. The higher price is what made me go with the RNT. I was wanting to try a single reed call, but this RNT is almost TOO raspy for my liking, and it's LOUD. The 2 calls looked almost identical....would it be worth taking the J-Frame back and getting the Yo' Sista'? I have a Wench and a Victoria Honker, and would like a single reed timber call. Is the "sister" right for the job, or is it more open water? I like being able to open up if I need to, but I would like to quiet down too, which I don't feel I'll be able to do on the Quackhead. Any thoughts from you veterans???

huntinsonovagun
Re: Primos Yo\' Sista\' vs. Quackhead J-frame LOL Search me. The call I was really wanting to try out from Quackhead was the "Quack Pipe." (Supposed to be a timber call)
Palssonater
Re: Primos Yo\' Sista\' vs. Quackhead J-frame Stay with the RNT. In my experience, the yo sista blows out too quickly. However, Primos is very good at sending you replacement reeds and cork.
Bow Hunter Derek
Re: Primos Yo\' Sista\' vs. Quackhead J-frame If the Quackhead J-Frame is too loud for you, try the Quackhead Timber call. It is a single reed that is easy to blow and only has a 1/4" bore. It'll go loud if you have to (not as loud as the J-frame), but is best served as a lower volume call for working close quarter birds. With the built in back pressure from the small diameter bore it is realy easy to do feed calls on. I paid $25 for mine at Gander and am impressed with it. huntinsonovagun
Re: Primos Yo\' Sista\' vs. Quackhead J-frame BHD- Is that the Quack Pipe?? That's the one I was looking for, but Wal-Mart didn't have. May have to order it. I'll probably take the J-Frame back....not completely satisfied..... Bow Hunter Derek
Re: Primos Yo\' Sista\' vs. Quackhead J-frame I've never heard of the Quack Pipe. I could be wrong, but I think that Quackhead only has four calls out for this year. The J-Frame, the Timber, the Quack Stacker, and the Goozilla. I've heard some bad things aboutthe Quack Stacker. I've heard it is tough call to master. I have the Goozilla call too. It killed a BUNCH of geese for me this year. Here is a link to the Timber Call at Mack's. Timber Or check out all their calls at Quack Head Calls

huntinsonovagun
Re: Primos Yo\' Sista\' vs. Quackhead J-frame Derek- I got back on QH's site and the Timer is AKA "Quack Pipe." Wal-Mart has just about all of the Quackheads except this particular one, which is the one I wanted before I walked in there. Timber AKA "Quack Pipe"
Bow Hunter Derek
Re: Primos Yo\' Sista\' vs. Quackhead J-frame That's the one. It is very easy to blow. You can really tone it down for close quarters calling.
