RTF
I cant believe no one has started a thread yet on the race. BTW I thought there was a 5 second delay on the broadcast ? I guess Robby has some splaining to do. What about the #9 and his payback . I couldnt believe he did that.
VABuckSlayer
Re: Wild wild race at Newhampshire Kanhe was obviously pissed. After Jarrett's retaliation... I think he started a trend. However... NASCAR is going to make sure the retaliation stops! In my opinion... Kyle Busch made a move he shouldn't have. I blame him for that wreck. The one with Riggs was just an accident. He got way loose and slid into Kurt. I couldn't tell who's fault it was on the replay between R. Gordon and Waltrip. That sounds like something that's been brewing for a while. Pretty crazy race but I'm happy to see Newman get the win. He made an awesome move to get back by Stewart. Great race!! Eric
tedicast
Re: Wild wild race at Newhampshire I think it was the most exciting race of the year! Thats the kind of stuff you see at ant weekly short track you go to. It definately makes things interesting.

fisherguy
Re: Wild wild race at Newhampshire A wild race for sure. Going to be a few guys lose points i think...and yup, that seven second delay sure showed how useful it is lol. Good to see newman take it. Looks like with Eury Jr, and his old cars Junior can make his comeback...a bit late, but it would be nice to see him and Gordon competing for 11th spot. deerslayer06
Re: Wild wild race at Newhampshire junior is too good too late boys. sorry. anyway kahne was totally out of his mind for trying to act like the big man on campus versus kyle busch. Im pretty sure busch has had a better rookie season than kahne did and a better 2005 season than kahne is having! kasey needs to grow up. period. he hasnt showed up to race this year. overrated. and for robby....i dont know where to start. its kind of hard to blame waltrip over the missguided robby gordan anyday. He was totally out of control. overall, a very exciting race as MATT KENSETH has moved to 5th in the standings. yee ha. go
mathews4life
Re: Wild wild race at Newhampshire NASCAR needed a lil' somethin to catch the publics attention and get more ppl watching the sport. With football season cranking up thats just what nascar needed to get some publicity.....best race of the yr IMO
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Wild wild race at Newhampshire I like Kahne's reasoning, he ruined the #9's day so he might as well ruin the #5's day as well!! Plus I do not care for the Busch brothers at all so that was good to see!!! It comes to a point where you get ticked off at other drivers taking you out and ruining all your team has worked for, you can only take so much and what you get is some of the actions you seen on Sunday. IowaDeerHunter
Re: Wild wild race at Newhampshire [ QUOTE ] junior is too good too late boys. sorry. [/ QUOTE ] Well duh he is obviously not in the chase! The race was exciting, and was it really gordon or waltrip who was at fault, I missed that part. Chrud
Re: Wild wild race at Newhampshire So...um...did Jarrett get a points and money fine and probation for intetnionally wrecking Newman? Where has the consistency gone? [/ QUOTE ] For the rest of you that might not know, No, after taking 9 or so laps to repair the car, they held him for 2 laps as a penalty. Which meant absolutely nothing. Not much difference or penalty when you are that far down already. Consistently unconsistant
