The_Kat
Re: The Christmas exchange... Its where forum members submit their names to be put in a drawing for a gift exchange during christmas time. I draw pairs of forum members out of a hat and they exchange gifts with each other. It was a big hit last year. I haven't forgotten either, but I still think it's awfully early to start the thread. If you want, go ahead and pick something up, but my vote says we wait until Late November at least. We don't need another locked thread in here just yet. I haven't forgot though!!! We ware the digital's now so the old ones are useless. I could get you a set of the new ones but I am a little far away from a Marine Corps Base right now to buy them. Hey, I know you want to look like a Marine

But I do know the old BDU's sure make for some nice cheap camo....
HarvDog
Re: The Christmas exchange... The digitals are VERY cool. What are these running now TSBH? I'd like to get a set of these at some point.
TreeStandBowHunter
Re: The Christmas exchange... $75 a set. We are required to have 4 sets...2 woodland digital and 2 desert digital. Bad thing for us old timers is we had to go out and buy them. Good thing for the newbies is that they were issued them in bootcamp. Not too mention the new brown swuade boots that are $100 a pop ....lucky for me, I got mine while a DI at Parris Island. We just wait for recruits to drop out and we take their sets

I need to get hooked up with someone still inlisted in the Army.......atleast the Army doesn't charge for uniforms if your are an inlisted man or a NCO,,,only the officers have to pay for thier uniforms.... If they are switching camo,,,I wonder what kind of buy I can get on the surplus BDU's....
