Guest Iambenelliguy
I was just wondering if anyone had any duck updates/general information around the saskatoon/wadena area. Any water in the fields that sort of stuff? We will be leaving Oct. 7 for this area. Migrating snow geese coming through yet? Any info would be great! clayman
Re: Canada Info I know this doesn't answer your question specifically, but... By Oct 7th there will be plenty of Snows moving through. That's the same day I'm leaving for Manitoba. Obviously later in the month would be even better. But usually by the second week of October there are a good number of flocks already staging. It could be slow, but you'll still get some quality hunting in. You just never know. In over twenty years of hunting in Manitoba, every year is different than the last. Some are better and some are worse, but we always get birds. You will too. SaskMan
Re: Canada Info I'm further north than Biggar, in the Meadow Lake area. There are currently a pile of snows, speckles and Canadas here. Lots of crop out means they'll be here for quite awhile I'd think. I must have drove by at least 3000 birds today on my way to work, about half of them were snows. More and more are appearing every day.
