I was taking laundry out of the dryer and found a live tick on a sock. I don't know how it survived the hot water and even hotter air but it did! I can't wait until it gets cold enough for them to die, I was picking them off my other half when we got back from hunting last Saturday. You'll probably find them off and on for the next few days. Luckily its cooled enough that they aren't that thick right now. I really hate when they get on my willy and you don't find them for a couple days. You have that constant itch in public for a couple days....not cool! Last year I was walking to set stands with my buddy and I looked down and my pants were just crawling with wood ticks. The really lace into the dogs too....so many and they always find the painfull spots. I feel bad taking them off.....especially when you can see the small chunk of skin in their jaws.
