Re: Anyone heard from RHINO

I'm fine and thanks for thinkin of me. Had to deal with a lot of clean up at the hunting camp and our hunting property. We must of had some twisters run through some parts when Katrina came through. Some places had trees leveled, others with tops twisted out of all the trees in some areas while other areas looked like they weren't affected at all. I was clearing a road on a high ridge that had only a few trees across it. Looking down into the trees in a bottom on one side of the ridge the trees were all missing tops while the trees on the ridge top weren't torn up much at all. Wierd.

With the aid of 2 tractors with front end loaders to push cut trees, etc. out of the way and a 550C John Deere dozer we cleaned up all our roads. Only took 3 days working daylight to dark too. Started planting some of our food plots now too and hope to finish them before the end of this coming weekend. I'm heading down tomorrow afternoon with a friend of mine to try to knock it out before the next rain (forcasted for Saturday) rolls in.

Looks like the turkeys weathered the storm well. I road into a small field in OJ where a big flock of turkeys were in it doin a little buggin. grin.gif

I got a lot a catchin up to do around here. Again thanks for your concern. wink.gif

Re: Anyone heard from RHINO

I'm fine but thanks for the thought Dean. not much to clean up at home but chances are we'll be cleaning up more limbs and trees in our access roads at our hunting property. At least we got all our food plots planted before the storm hit. Saw 3 long beards Friday. grin.gif
