Guest Wizard3686
ok well i was thinking about picking up a game camara or 2 if the price is right but i was worried that the flash would spook the deer i was thinking about putting it out in oct and we wont hunt the land in till nov it will only be out for a couple nights over our bait but do you think the flash would make the deer not wanna come by there no more there is a very big 8 or 10 i wanna get a pic of it so i can see how big he is and i think we know what trail he is running but dont wanna scare him off we only have 20 acres or should we put them up off the bait and try and get them comeing to it
bowhtr1
Re: Game Camara Help They get use to it. I had 54 pictures in one night of two big bucks at my salt lick. They didnt seem to mind. I have plenty others with multiple pics. I have seen some get spooked and just move around the camera just out of range. Others dont seem to care. Anyway if they move it will only be a few yards away so the cam wont trip. I just move my cam and get the same deer again. Good luck. wtnhunt
Re: Game Camara Help The flash does not really seem to bother them too much. Had a couple dozen night time pics of a mature 8 pointer coming in to our mineral site in the 2003-2004 season just a week or so before I killed him. I killed him opening afternoon of the muzzleloader season that year as he was coming onto my field full of does.
