redbeard
Call makin' mood I reckon. Stolt this pretty neat inlay and put it in a two track player. She plays sorta low, sorta the "hen in a holler" tone. Makes the dog howl as all the good turkey calls do. She's up for auction come later tonight to help callmakers afflicted by Katrina and some well deserving firemen down there. The effort has raised about 4600 so far. Here's your chance to help. You can find her by hitting the following link. All other calls can be found via the link in the Katrina Aid Post. Katrina Benefit Call Thanks for lookin'. She ain't perfect but she'll play. redbeard
Re: ONE FOR KATRINA: REDBEARDS\'S TWO TRACK PLAYER Thanks fellas, the TURKEYWIDOW ebay account has been suspended temporarily while they research and obtain information about what this charity drive was all about. It seems they believe the calls I won and bid on were done in a malicious effort to shill the calls value, which is the farthest thing from the truth. Every call I bid on and every call I won, I wanted...to the tune exceeding 500 dollars worth. And I had not bid on my own call and had no intentions of doing so. Know this, the calls will be relisted if under a new seller if need be. And also know this the Two-Track Player will come with a two and a half day turkey hunt with me here in Georgia, either during the 2006 or 2007 spring season. What we are facing here is merely proving to eBay that our auctions were not property of the TURKEYWIDOWS but donations from fine callmakers from throughout the US. As big as eBay is, that will take time. Also, it is a rule that family members should not bid on items listed by other family members in an attempt to shill the items value. You can rest assured that was not done nor has ever been done. Hopefully, with faith and a few good words to eBay from folks that know me, this will be cleared up. Nontheless, keep an eye out by searching with "turkey call" in the search description. These fine calls will reappear sooner or later.
