Fred Bear Quote

"I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and the sure knowledge that nature’s ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow."

grin.giflaugh.gif I really like this one-thought I would share it with you all! smile.gif I hope everyone is or will have a safe and successful hunting season! grin.gif

I work with youth through the Aldo Leopold Education Project... through Pheasant's Forever... He is very insprining and has made me really appreciate my life and our natural surroundings... Anyone who loves to read should pick up "A Sand County Almanac" That's good reading right there! smile.gif Oh I almost forgot "Wilderness Hunter" by Teddy R. is a good read too! grin.gif I wish he was our President today! crazy.giflaugh.gif
