billkay
Re: American Pioneer powder question I just got some in pellet form. I think it used to be called Clean Shot or Clear Shot. Sulphur free and little fouling.
wtnhunt
Re: American Pioneer powder question Saw something in a magazine ad endorsed by Jim Shockey on this powder this weekend and was wondering about it too. Looked in a Cabelas catalog and it sells for I think $17 a lb in loose powder. Comparably priced to hodgdons pyrodex loose powder. I read it was also comparable to other powders on the market in like charges. In other words a shooter shooting 120 grains of pyro should be able to expect similar performance from 120 grains of american pioneer, right?
