I would say another buck scent would work the best. Big boys are always in the mood for a fight but it will probably scare off the small bucks and some does. I put it on a drag rag all the way to my stand on a morning with fresh snowfall. Within 10 minutes of sitting in my stand I had a seven ptr. show up. 1/2 hour later a six ptr and 15 min after that a respectable 6ptr which hangs on my wall. I also think that scents are hit and miss. Every situation is different and every deer is different. First find where the bucks are and then try different lures. It just might work. Then I sprinkle some doe in heat, and sprinkle some buck scent along the side of it. It seems to work some times, in some woods. Other areas, it draws a blank. Best results with scrapes have been active scrape and my own urine.No doubt scents need to be used right at the right time, or they will not be effective. I had a small 8 pointer come right into my scent bomb filled with Tink's Draw 2. It never scared him, and he offered me a great shot too! The bottle says makes deer curious, he was! LOL!
