VtBowhunter
Re: fourm idea I think the swapping hunts thing would work great in the class. forum, too. I do think that we're asking for trouble by adding another deer forum (That's all QDM is for), but if you all want to then I think we should have a deer hunting forum mod also be one of the moderators for the QDM room, so that things can be placed in the proper rooms back and forth.......I'll do it.....I have a great interest in QDM. wtnhunt
Re: fourm idea Used to be a forum for foodplots here back in the beginning. Think Clay(iminrut) was the moderator. Would be good to have a forum dedicated to qdm and foodplots.

dogdoc
Re: fourm idea I do believe there is a huge interest not only in food plot development but also QDM. QDM is so much more than "growing" bigger bucks---actually "growing" bigger bucks is not the priority of QDM--it is totally about developing a healthier herd--keeping doe numbers in proportion and allowing younger bucks to mature---when you allow the younger bucks to mature then obviously you are going to have bigger bucks on your hunting property. Food plots and habitat improvement is one of the hottest topics associated with deer hunting. Just about every hunting magazine has an article dedicated to food plots or habitat improvement every month. However--food plots and habitat improvement doesn't just apply to deer management/hunting. Just about every wild animal benefits from improving the quality of your land--from turkeys, quail, dove, rabbits and others. QDM isn't for everyone--and there are some hard core QDMers that can turn off others from QDM--that is not the intention of most QDMers. However--from the number of PM's I get from here concerning food plot topics I really think a food plot/QDM room would see quite a bit of traffic. So I have to agree--I would love to have a Food Plot/QDM room for this forum. I think it would just make the #1 hunting forum on the net that much better--JMO though. And guys--you're making me blush todd

VtBowhunter
Re: fourm idea Todd, I agree, QDM does affect every living thing out there........my point was based solely on the fact that a QDM room is most definately going to house questions based mostly on deer. The more I think of it the more I like the idea.......especially with everything we've done with our land the past couple years.
