How's this for a largemouth?

If you've been reading my post about Bass Fishing in September, you'd probably know what I'm talking about here. I have been fishing a reservoir since last Friday and have been catching a ton of fish. Today, I pulled in a real nice one and kept him and ate him up already.

He was 14.5 inches and 1lb.

Here are some pics:

NOT so fast there LEATHERNECK.....there are subtle and distinguished differences between species of fish.

Bream have a completely different taste than bass. They are not as sweet.

Bass has a "fishier" taste than most freshwater fish. And depending on the LOCATION , whether it's a pond or a river.....THAT has a huge bearing on the taste of a fish.

Pond fish tend to have a "muddy" taste compared to fish caught in a river.

Catfish have a taste all of their own. But there are differences in tastes between each SUB-SPECIES of catfish.

Should I continue????? grin.gifgrin.gif LOL........you asked for it. wink.giftongue.giftongue.giftongue.gif

Re: How\'s this for a largemouth?

nice fish man, congrats

i was telling my brother about your posts and he decided he was going to give it a try... he went to a lake in southern utah (sand hollow) and tried his luck. he was only able to get a 19" out of there, and unfortunately, at the lake he was at, they have to be smaller than 10" or bigger than 20" - he did get a couple of pictures, but didn't get to bring it home
