Chrud
It took almost one year, but I finally found the blind I've wanted for gun hunting. I like to gun hunt from a ladderstand, but when it's raining, really cold or windy, I'd rather be in a pop-up blind, they stop the wind a little. I've only seen this blind once and that was at Wal-Mart last fall. I looked at Gander Mountain today, they had it, but not the camo I wanted. Same at Fleet Farm. Me and a buddy went to Wal-Mart at 10:00 last night and there it was...an Ameristep Outhouse in Hardwoods HD for $45! I was really happy to finally find this blind in Hardwoods HD again. I know you can get it in Hardwoods Green HD in catalogs, but the only place I've seen them in Hardwoods HD is at Wal-Mart.
Guest Clay008
Re: New Blind Congrats on finding the blind you wanted. That is always frustrating when you know exactly what you want and you know it is out there but you can't find it. I hope it works well for you. Chrud
Re: New Blind [ QUOTE ] Thats cool...I have a brickhouse I like alot... [/ QUOTE ] I have a Brickhouse TSC for bowhunting too. It took a while to find one of them in MAX-4 HD too. But, when I did it was on sale for $120. Here is my Brickhouse. I'll post a picture of the Outhouse when the weather clears up. I like a little more confined blind for gun hunting, so that is why I went with the Outhouse. Chrud
Re: New Blind [ QUOTE ] I don't really like using blinds, too hard to shoot out of the small space. [/ QUOTE ] That is why I went with a Brickhouse for bowhunting. It is 5' square on the bottom. In the middle it is probably 6' square, where the hubs stick out. It is huge! Chrud
Re: New Blind [ QUOTE ] Churd is it only enough room for one or is there enough for me and my 10 year old? Thanks. [/ QUOTE ] Check out a Brickhouse (my first picture in this thread). Or, a Doghouse might work well too. But, the Brickhouse has enough room for a small party. Chrud
Re: New Blind How effective can a Brickhouse (first blind pictured) be without the TSC windows? Check out my latest UDJ Entry.
