14 deer under my stand last night!!!

Here in Illinois, it's only a few days to the opener and do you wanna talk about getting pumped. I was out at my buddies where I plan on hunting opening day. We were watching the back of his field from his deck and just sitting around talking when the deer suddenly appeared coming out of where his stand is located. They made their way down into the field and fed in our food plot for a little bit then on out into the field towards the center. I was pretty excited to see these 5 deer and just happy that one of us might get a shot at something on opening evening. About 20 mins later a few more does and fawns came out in the exact same place. I was really happy about this for him mainly and told him that I just wish one of them would walk by my stand which was further down the fence row. Being 70 yrs old, he has much more knowledge than I do and he said that some days they may look like they're not coming to me but witha little patience they may come right by my stand. Well as if they heard this, a doe and 2 fawns came feeding down out of the woods right into the food plot and right past my stand. About an hour later, the doe and two fawns came back out into the field again in fromt of my stand and joined the others. about 30 more mins later the other 11 deer all walked by my stand at no more than 20 yds. 3 bucks were in the mix but most were does and fawns. October 1st can't get here fast enough. Wish me luck.
