huntinsonovagun Posted November 2, 2004 Report Share Posted November 2, 2004 This crap is killing me!! Have two 3-5page papers due by Friday. Started one last night but I am having trouble with it. Having trouble coming up with information (it is a biography on Supreme Court member Sandra Day O'Connor). Well, not coming up with info, just using it. I feel like I am just stealing someone else's biography and putting it in my words. Not sure how else I can do a biography I am not having the time to hunt I want!!!! I know how you feel, I have been in the library all day and still have a few moreh ours to go till my game. I'm tired of staring at the computer doing homework. Umm well for a biography, you should have a bibliography(author, book title,publisher, date published, pages,etc...) then if you are like citing a quote, I think you cite at the end of the quote or put numbers by the quote and at the bottom of the page, have your bibliography with the corresponding number. I'd tell you how to cite all that stuff but all I've learned is that every professor I have ever had wants it done differently...so I have no idea whats right or wrong. Most of my papers have to be done in the MLA format, so I cite the author's last name and the page number the information came from (or URL if it is a web site) at the end of the sentence that contains the information I am referencing.
