LLBUX
Re: The North American #1 Guns Found a dead buck Friday. He had been liver-shot on Tues/Wed. Meat was too far gone for recovery. I salvaged the antlers on Sat afternoon. The buck went about 132" green as an 11 pointer. I'll try to post a pic later. Saw 8 does/fawns last night. It is cool enough now to take a doe so I'm goin' hunting! Good luck all!
need2hunt
Re: The North American #1 Guns NOTE: I'm sorry to inform you that twodogs2025 is no longer a member of this forum and therefore cannot continue to participate in the contest. So that you don't have to be one person short hangunnr volunteered for the vacant spot. This was something that was completely unexpected but I feel this is the best fix for it with it being this early in the contest. Please give hangunnr a warm welcome. Thanks Gary

MossySNPR
Re: The North American #1 Guns Well guys heres a few pics from my Quebec moose hunt! As I said before, we downed a cow and her two calves. The two calves, five shots, emptied a clip. First shot missed, second shot dropped one calf, third shot broke two back legs, fourth shot put one down and fifth shot put the other down. My uncle holding up his two calves. Our cow moose cut into four quarters. 5 Shots. One lung hit, two lung hit, three lung hit, four miss calf, five miss calf LOL. Me holding the cows head. Guest outdoorgirl
Re: The North American #1 Guns It's been raining ....windy....just plain wet weather here in upstate ny....went out sat and sun to muzzle load....seen a few does and could of harvested one but decided not to . I don't want to shoot the does on my property because i haven't been seeing to many.....when rut comes in i have a better chance of seeing a buck.....we have 77 acres and their are a lot of farms near by that have a lot of hunters....so i like to keep the deer coming on my property and let them feel safe......then when rifle season starts the bucks will seek out the does....then thats when i'll score.....but if i see a buck during muzzle loading i'll shoot him.
